WAVELENGTH

The wavelength is important for good reception of radio signals, whether Ham Radio, Television, cell phones, and your local FM Rock station. The formula for figuring out the wavelength is as follows:

300/Frequency in MHz = Wavelength in Meters

The radio wave is a sine wave and thus the significance of 1/4, 1/2, 3/4's and full wavelength antennas.
